As the Ebola outbreak devastated already weak health systems in West Africa, Partners In Health raised $13,046 to lead a response effort along with partners on the ground that will deliver care, help contain the current outbreak, and strengthen health systems for the long term.

GlobalGiving is a crowdfunding community for nonprofits. GlobalGiving shares data about its projects and partner organizations in IATI (International Aid Transparency Initiative) standard format. Data for this project were collected based on project descriptions and exclude projects by U.S. foundations (to avoid double-counting). GlobalGiving also raises money for its own disaster relief funds, which are disbursed to partner organizations in affected regions.
