Union Township is planning to apply for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe’s 2 percent grant in an effort to fund two projects.
The Union Township Board of Trustees approved two applications for the tribe’s annual grant for funding projects that were denied in the last grant cycle during their meeting Wednesday night.The last grant cycle was in fall, as the grant funding is given out the projects on a twice-yearly basis, once in the spring and once in the fall.
