Founded in 1981, the Ucross Foundation provides uninterrupted time, work space, and living accommodations to competitively selected artists. Nearly thirteen hundred individuals from every state in the union as well as many countries, including Germany, France, Scotland, England, Poland, Egypt, the Netherlands, Canada, and Thailand, have spent time at Ucross since it opened its doors in Sheridan, Wyoming.
