St. Louis County-based violence, homeless shelters will receive new, ongoing funding

A complicated, cost-neutral transfer of $1.8 million was nearly two years in the making and comes as homelessness is on the rise.
With homelessness rising locally, an infusion of funding will add staff to local shelters and bolster additional shelter beds and services for people who are homeless or fleeing domestic abuse.
