The Institute for American Indian Studies (IAIS) is one of 54 other recipients in the state to receive a grant from Connecticut Humanities’ COVID-19 Relief Fund for Connecticut Museums, according to a press release.
The organization — an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities — awarded $22,727.25 to the Washington-based IAIS for its continued preservation of Native American history and culture.
