Opioid distributors to pay $590 million to affected tribes
Companies plead not guilty
Three largest US drug distributors and drugmaker Johnson & Johnson agreed to pay $590 million in compensation to hundreds of U.S. Native tribes. Indian tribes have filed lawsuits alleging that the actions of these companies have fueled the opioid epidemic.
