The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded a grant of $1,183,000 to the American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) to support the Native Languages Program. The award will help AIHEC establish the virtual National TCU Center of Excellence on Native Languages and a vibrant community of practice among Native languages faculty, researchers, and partners at tribal colleges and universities (TCUs).
