A youth-led organization from Kiana was recently awarded two grants to develop personal and regional projects in the Northwest Arctic.
OPT In Kiana received a $5,800 grant from Teck Alaska, Red Dog Operations for inter-village programming and a $19,100 grant from First Nations Development Institute for youth leadership and cultural development.
