(KTEN) — The Chickasaw Nation was awarded grant money for its food distribution services.
They'll use those funds to partner with a Chickasaw-owned ranch to provide local meat products to their clients.
The Chickasaw Nation is one of just seven tribes to receive this money. They plan to offer healthier options to eligible First Americans.
