Group empowering native youth gets huge grant from Hearst

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
A program aimed at helping Native American youth was awarded a grant by The Hearst Foundations in New Mexico.
It's called Project Venture and it started as a dream several years ago.
"We use the outdoor adventure as a metaphor to overcoming challenges," said its founder, McClellan Hall.
Project Venture is helping thousands of Native American children all across the world, including in New Mexico.
