CLINTON — A $100,000 grant awarded to Clinton Community Schools will assist the district toward the introduction of a new nickname.
The Clinton school district was one of six Michigan communities and school districts that received funding this fall from the Native American Heritage Fund (NAHF). These six communities and schools were selected from a pool of 10 submissions, a news release said, which the NAHF ultimately narrowed down to the six recipients.
