DILLON — The University of Montana Western and Blackfeet Community College have been awarded a $1.4 million Indian Education Professional Development grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The grant is based on the collaboration of professor of special education at the University of Montana Western, Vikki Howard, with Dee Hoyt, education division chair at Blackfeet Community College, and Cheryl Madman, Tribal Community Teacher Capacity Project developer at Blackfeet Community College.
