WAGNER, S.D. — A former doctor at the Indian Health Service clinic in Wagner, South Dakota, will spend up to a decade in prison for sexually abusing patients who later reported his attacks to law enforcement.
Pedro Ibarra-Perocier, 60, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Karen Schreier on Monday, Dec. 13, to 10 years in prison on five counts of abusive sexual contact. Five of those years could be under supervised release.
