I helped sue the Chilean government in my first case after graduating from law school. The lawsuit asserted violations of Indigenous rights perpetrated by the Chilean government and went before the Chilean Supreme Court. I was less than five years out of law school when I stood outside under the sun in the world’s driest desert, listening for hours.
