Under the leadership of Dull Knife, his band of Northern Cheyenne attempt to escape from their confinement at Fort Robinson, Nebraska. U.S. military hunt them down, massacring at least 14 women and children and killing a total of about 32‒77 Northern Cheyenne (“List of Indian massacres”).
