Aleut Restitution Act
Also known as the Aleutian and Pribilof Islands Restitution Act, this act of Congress is a reparation settlement in response to the internment of the Aleut people of the Aleutian Islands during World War II. The U.S. forcibly relocated and interned more than 800 Aleuts to camps in southeast Alaska, where an estimated one in ten people perished. (https://www.aleutstory.tv/)
