This databook presents indicators of demography, income, employment, education, and housing for reservations in the lower 48 states. It also begins to investigate the variations within Indian Country, although full examination is beyond its scope. It is meant to update earlier research on changes from 1990 to 2000 on reservations and relates to prior research documenting the challenges of reservation life.
