Zachariah Rides At The Door, 22, prefers to go by his Blackfeet name, Saa’mi Siipisstto. Originally from Browning, he transferred from Montana State University to attend the University of Montana during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, he’s the president of the Kyiyo Native American Student Association, and the leading student organizer of the 53rd Annual Kyiyo Pow Wow.
While Kyiyo received some money from the University, the group was left out of a $15,000 endowment promised by UM in November 2021. ...
