Two Native-led organizations in Oklahoma were given grants totalling $400,000 on Tuesday.
The Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries and Museums in Oklahoma City and the IllumiNative in Tulsa were each given a grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation as part of the organization's initiative to improve the well-being of Native communities around the country.
