Nearly $84 million in federal grants will aid local public health organizations for emergency preparedness and mental health services, U.S. Rep. Paul D. Tonko, D-Amsterdam, said Friday.
The money will be administered by the Department of Health and Human Services. The bulk, over $78 million, will go to Health Research Inc., located in Menands.
