Council Updated On Indigenous Youth Program

Author: Caroline Redston

More details are being hammered out for a program to help at-risk Indigenous youth in the city.
The program is expected to start in May, offering services and supports like mentoring to young people from ages 12 to 24, especially those from remote First Nations who are in Thunder Bay for school.
It will run in the Simpson/Ogden, Windsor/Picton/Blucher, and Vale/Limbrick neighbourhoods, along with Dennis Franklin Cromarty and the Matawa Learning Centre.
