Santa Rosa tribe building first park thanks to $10,000 donation from nearby Soboba tribe

The Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians will soon have its first park on the reservation, thanks to a $10,000 donation from the Soboba Band of LuiseƱo Indians.
The park will be about 28,000 square feet on a longtime vacant lot next to the tribal administration buildings. It will feature playground equipment, tetherball and volleyball courts and a sidewalk around the perimeter.
